Welcome to the Miss LifeWalk page!

In 1990 AIDS Arms LifeWalk began as a means to raise funds for AIDS services in Dallas. LifeWalk has raised and distributed more than $8 million for AIDS services throughout North Texas to date. The Miss LifeWalk Pageant is annual event held in conjunction with LifeWalk, and benefits AIDS Arms. Miss LifeWalk may promote LifeWalk at other events throughout the year.

The Miss LifeWalk 2011 pageant was held at the Round-Up Saloon on Sunday, July 17. The pageant produced by the Guys and Dolls LifeWalk team, raised $18,000, which will go toward the annual LifeWalk event, set this year for October 2 in Lee Park. Hosts for the pageant were Ima Lush and Victoria Weston with a special guest appearance by Ivanna Whataburger. Miss Lotta Pink, winner of the 2011 Miss LifeWalk Pageant, also won the Miss Spirit of LifeWalk award, the Miss Money Bags award, the evening wear competition and the talent competition. Miss Heather Thomas, was first runner-up and Miss Mowlawn Rouge was second runner-up and winner of Miss Congeniality.

All LifeWalk teams are strongly encouraged to participate and sponsor a contestant in the pageant. Miss LifeWalk is open to both men and women. Teams motivate and challenge each other to raise their fundraising goals, contributing to the continued success of LifeWalk. Ultimately, we are one big LifeWalk team! With your help, The Miss LifeWalk Pageant provides an evening of fun, fundraising and entertainment! Contestants are encouraged to “show” their LifeWalk spirit.
